In 1996, Barry Searcy purchased the property where we are currently located and transformed his vision into a reality. A parts warehouse , a 12 bay truck shop and a sales showroom formed the beginning’s of Volvo Manitoba Truck Centre. With a small but dedicated staff of 16 of which 9 are still employed here, they set out to make Volvo – and Beaver Truck Centre a fixture in Manitoba’s trucking industry.
Beaver Trucks has since grown substantially and has been designated a world-class Volvo dealer. With a 19,000 sq.ft parts warehouse housing more than 3 Million in inventory , a 23 bay service department with more than 100 skilled and knowledgeable staff members. Now with our second location added in Brandon , we have come along way from our early days.
The one thing that has not changed is our commitment to excellence in all that we do. At Beaver Truck Centre , we’ll look after all your trucking needs with the same great service and quality we’ve become know for. So if you would like stop in some place where you’ll be welcome for a cup of coffee and a chat, we would be happy to see you.
The trucking industry plays a vital role in Manitoba’s economy. There are over 25,000 Manitobans directly employed in the truck transportation sector, and figures show that for every ten jobs created in the trucking industry, seven jobs are created in associated industries. The transportation and warehousing industry employs 5.7% of Manitoba’s labour force, and consistently makes up 6 to 7% of the provincial GDP. Not only is trucking a major contributor to Manitoba’s economy, it is a critical service provider to the rest of the industries driving the Manitoban economy such as wholesale and retail trade, manufacturing, construction, and agriculture.
The Manitoba Trucking Association exists to develop and maintain a safe and healthy business environment for its industry members and has been doing so since 1932. We are, first and foremost, an advocacy group working on behalf of the trucking industry. The Manitoba Trucking Association is the voice of the trucking industry in Manitoba. We are comprised of Carrier members and Associated Trades members. We have close to 300 member companies that represent over 10,000 employees. Those member companies represent about 25% of the for hire trucking companies in Manitoba whose fleets represent over 75% of the trucks licensed in Manitoba. Our Carrier members range in size from one‐truck operators to companies with over a thousand trucks. We have PSV (for‐hire) fleets, private fleets, household mover fleets, heavy haul fleets, couriers and local cartage companies among our membership. Some of these carrier members stay within city and provincial limits; others are involved in cross‐border trade and international shipping.
The Manitoba Trucking Association is a member of the Canadian Trucking Alliance. The Canadian Trucking Alliance is the federation of the seven provincial trucking associations and has over 4,500 member companies nationally. The mandate of the Canadian Trucking Alliance is to represent the trucking industry’s viewpoint on national and international policy, regulatory and legislative issues that affect trucking.

Commercial-Grade, Industrial-Strength, Ultra-Premium Fuel Uprading Solutions.
Xp3 is a blend of purely concentrated organic compounds and synthetic resins, containing no retail fillers, no damaging alcohol, aromatics or toluene, nor any type of diluting ingredients normally found in regular retail grade products.
In the retail marketplace, purely concentrated industrial grade fue additives are expensive and typically difficult to procure.
When buying upgraded gasoline at the retail pump, expect to pay surcharges of 8-14 cents per litre or more to upgrade from regular to premium. And in Canada, premium diesel fuel at retail pumps is either not available or extremely rare and expensive.
Regular retail consumer grade additives contain 40% to 90% of filler agents, which are non-active ingredients added only to give consumers a false sense of value when purchasing, due to the larger physical size of the retail bottle.
The Bottom Line: “The educated and informed user of fuel additives will always choose a purely concentrated, industrial strength, multi-functional formulation from a global manufacturer with a proven track record instead of a diluted, consumer grade, over the counter, retail packaged product.”
